February'11 - Week 4

I purchased another FitFlop boots. They were 55-60% off of the retail price on Amazon last weekend, President's Day sale.
They were SO much cheaper. The black tall boots I bought 2 weeks ago were $40 cheaper. :(
They are still on sale now, but the price has increased a little bit.

I also used $10 Amazon gift cards that I'd earned from Swagbucks. Love that site!

FitFlop Short Toning Ankle Boot - $22.90 shipped (Orig. $95)

I bought these boots because I want another pair of the Fitflop boots that are easier to put on/off than the tall version. I also like the buckle detail, unfortunately it's just a decoration/not adjustable.
I wish the buckle was adjustable. I don't like the shaft circumference. It's too big for my leg. It's flapping around when I'm walking.

The FitFlop family ☺

Dolce Vita for Target Rope Wedge Sandals Cognac - $29.99

I was SO excited when I saw these wedges on Target website! It's because they are the remake of $147 Dolce Vita "Uma" wedges that were released last year.

These wedges are available in brown, cognac, nude and black.
Target store has these wedges in brown. So I went to the store to try them out first, to make sure that they were true to size and they were as good as pictured.

I took a picture with my i-Phone to show it to my friend.

I was so glad that I tried them out first! I ordered a half-size smaller. These wedges run big, especially the ankle straps part. If I ordered my regular size, I would have to puncture another hole.

I picked the cognac color since the color will look good with bright summer clothes.

The wedges are pretty stable even though they are 4 inches high, pretty comfy but I don't think I can walk for hours in them.
The back zipper closure is a bit hard to pull up, need a little force. You've got what you pay for I guess.

February'11 - Week 3

ASOS Faceted Jet Stone & Bead Bracelet - $13.79

I purchased this bracelet from ASOS website. I didn't expect it would look so beautiful !! I have a big black-stoned ring that will look great with this bracelet.
The metal beads were sewed on top of a thick black fabric neatly. There's no loose strings.

On Monday, Valentine's Day, hubby and I ate at an Italian restaurant after work. Then, we went to TJMaxx across the street. I tried a couple of things, and ended up buying an open cardigan that I found at the clearance rack. I already have lots of grey cardigans, but it's only $10! And I like the "holes" detailing.

Open Cardigan - $10

On Saturday, hubby and I went to the mall. We went around 10:30 AM. Oddly, this time he didn't mind to go with me. I usually go to the mall alone, go to a couple stores and then go home. He, on the other hand, sleeps till noon.

First trip was to Victoria's Secret, to redeem the free PINK back-ruched panty coupon I got in the mail. I usually hate getting pink-colored panty, but I'm sick of always getting the black or white ones. Yah, at least it's magenta pink, not light baby pink.

Then, we went to Sephora@JCPenney. I went there to redeem the free sample of Givenchy perfume that I found and printed online. Unfortunately, the free perfume was in a sachet instead of in a tiny vial. Bah!
Out of impulse, I bought an OPI nail polish that's on sale. It's not an exciting shade, just white sheer w/ some shimmers.
Also bought a Sephora pop-up brush. I used to have one, but I broke it.

Sephora by OPI "How Many Carats?" - $5
Sephora Pop-Up Brush - $8

Last trip, before heading back home, we went to Macy's. We parked our car outside Macy's store.
The store currently is having President's Day sale. SOOOO many 50-70% off clearance clothes! There's also a 15% off coupon too.

When browsing the clearance racks @ Women section, I found this ADORABLE looking ruffle-trimmed sweater, that's coincidentally in my size. It's the only one too!
It's made of thick knit and long enough to wear it as a coat. Actually, it's categorized as a "coat" on Macy's site.

Style&Co 3/4-Sleeve Ruffle Hem Sweater - $11.xx (Orig. $49)

After I paid for the sweater, we went home. I didn't have the time to check the rest of the clearance sale and the shoes section 'cuz hubby was getting bored and moody. :( O well, it's good for my wallet anyway.

February'11 - Week 2

I saw this lovely sandals when I was browsing RevolveClothing website, the sale section, they were on sale for $29.
The website only had one left in my size. So, I quickly googled a discount code, the highest I could find was 20% off, and I bought them right away.

LOVERS + FRIENDS - Skylar - $23.20 (Orig. $105)

The style overall is quite cool looking. They will look nice with cropped pants and boho skirts. The sandals have zip-up closure on the back. They fit true to size, but I wish the ankle straps were adjustable, kinda too big for my ankle.

I bought these face and hair products from iHerb.com. It's my favorite site when I want to stock up natural/organic face/body products. Their prices are much cheaper than the retail.

You should check out the site if you've never been there.
First time customer gets $5 off of first purchase with code BUN126. ;-)

Avalon Organics Vit C Cleansing Gel - $6.41
Giovanni Direct Leave-In Weightless Moisture Conditioner - $5.17

I've been using the Avalon Organic face cleansing gel for about a year. This one is my third bottle. It's gentle and clean my skin well. I wish it came in a tube, so that I could bring it with me when I traveled.

The Giovanni Leave-In Conditioner, it's gotten pretty good reviews. It's a pretty good hair product. Thick lotion. If you have short or medium length hair, pea-size of it is enough. Apply it on towel-dried hair and blow dry afterward. If your hair is frizzy-prone, you should try it out.

I got these jeggings from my BFF. One day she texted me to ask about my jeans size. She found some really good deal at Gilly Hicks. I wasn't sure what my size was, so I just told her my American Eagle jeggings size. I always have a hard time finding jeans that fit me. When I buy them online, I always buy them in multiple sizes.

Gilly Hicks Jeggings $9.xx (Orig. $34)

Luckily, I chose the right size! They fit great, not too tight/loose.
They fit like jeans, with button closure and functional front and back pockets, but the fabric is SO soft, as soft as sweatpants. These jeans are going to be one of my fav jeans!

February'11 - Week 1

Yay FitFlops!!

I saw these boots the first time in October 2010, they were love at first sight! Too bad they are so pricey.
Finally, FitFlop boots are on sale. I almost bought them on blissworld.com, but then after googling more, I found these on sale for cheaper on Amazon.com. I was split between grey and black. I chose black since the color is more universal.
I also used $25 worth of Amazon giftcard that I got from Swagbucks.

I love swagbucks! I've earned more $300 worth of gift cards since January 2010. Read more here, "Easy way to get $5 Amazon e-gift card, etc. (=SWAGBUCKS)"

FitFlop Tall Superboot - $50.07 (Orig. $175)

I own a pair of their classic FitFlop sandals (Blog) and shoes FitFlop Billow (Blog), that I bought in July 2009. They are very comfortable and durable. I wear the Billow almost everyday, except in the summer, and they still haven't worn out yet.

The boots, I bought my regular FitFlop size 5. I generally wear size 6.
If you have narrow feet, you should go down a whole size, but if you have non-skinny calves and/or wide feet, you might want to order your regular size.
My calf circumference is 14 inches, as you can see, almost no space left when I wear them with jeans. I can get into them easier when I wear jeggings or leggings.
The boots at first were very hard to put on, very snug. I even thought I bought the wrong size. They fit much better after I wore and walked around the house. They are now as comfortable as my other FitFlop shoes.

Soon, I'm going to get the short version, in brown!

I "adopted" some VS Pink puppies from eBay. LOL
I didn't have the time to go to the store to get the graffiti ones. When I finally had the time, they were sold out. Each costs around $7, not that bad of a deal. I also got the sailor edition from 1996 for around $6.50.

I must say, the older version of the doll is slightly bigger and fatter.
