Last Purchase of 2009 - VS Haul (Yeah, another one) + $5 UD eyeliner

Received my Semi Annual Sale orders that I placed last week.

Body by VS Ipex® wireless bra in Rose Blush - $20.98 shipped
Ruffle-trim Scoopneck tee - $7.98 shipped

The tee is really cute, I ❤ it. It looks as modeled.

The bra, strangely, it doesn't fit well at all. It's my usual size and style I wear everyday. The band part was tight, it suffocated me. I did an exchange by phone, ordered a different size. So sad!! Maybe it doesn't fit because I've gained a few pounds. T_T

I bought this Victoria's Secret top on eBay last week, for $13.91 shipped.

Close-up of the embroidered design. Pretty nice details.
The V is very low cut, so I sewed it up a little bit so that it doesn't show so much cleavage. ^^"

I bought this UD mini 24/7 Glide-on eyeliner for $5 shipped.

I found this deal on the Slickdeals forum, Urban Decay eyeliner for $5 + Free Shipping thread.

FYI, Free Standard shipping is only until Jan 4th.

There are 4 color choices. You only can choose one color per order. See the link above for more details.

It's a pretty good deal.
The regular size is 0.04 oz, it costs $17 each.
The size of this mini eyeliner is 0.03 oz, only for $5!

It's a very nice eyeliner, it glides really smoothly and it has excellent staying power. I'm getting another one for backup.

First Google Adsense Payday

At last,...

.....I finally received my first paycheck from Google.

After about 3 months of having Google ads on a couple of web pages, included this blog, I finally got my first Google Adsense check. They send a check when your earning is $100 or more.

I wish I could get 6 digits like this guy.

This check will go toward this month inflated credit card bill. haha

Vegas Trip + Holiday Shopping

Soooo this month, I am SOOOOOOO overbudget,.... because I bought a roundtrip ticket and booked a room at a hotel in Las Vegas for 4 days+3 nights. LOL
Two weeks ago, my BFF told me that she and her sister+bf were planning to stay in LV from Dec 21st to 24th. She said I should come too.
Yah, since I hadn't taken any vacation this year and my hubby encouraged me to go, so, why not! The ticket was quite expensive since it's booked last minute, but it's worth it. It was fun! We walked around the strip and shopped till we dropped! Well, most of the time we were only window shopping, since everything there was so expensive. We didn't gamble/drink, since she's still 20 y.o. LOL

The first thing I bought in LV was a pair of star-shape earrings, made of genuine coconut shell. I saw them when we were buying bottled waters at a store called "ABC store." Hotels sell a bottled water for $3. Gesh.

We went to Neiman Marcus Last Call store at the Las Vegas Premium Outlet. We rode a shuttle bus to go there, since it's 45 mins away from LV strip. There were soooo many $200-$300 designer jeans there for under $150, such as SFAM, R&R, TR, Paige, and many more. Also handbags, shoes, clothes, etc.

I wasn't planning to buy anything there since everything was still too expensive for me.
But, when I saw my friend trying out a pair of True Religion jeans, I instantly fell in love with the pocket design and the cool white stitching.

I'd never bought designer jeans because of the price and also because of the pressure of keeping my weight/waist size the same. LOL
Since I reallllyyy LOVE the jeans, I called my hubby, asking him if I could buy the jeans. He said it's up to me.

At the time, there's additional 20% off deal, and ANOTHER additional 20% off if used the Neiman Marcus card, my friend had one.
So, I bought my first and possibly my last designer jeans. Who knows. LOL

The TR jeans retail price is around $250, on sale for $130.
Final total after tax is around $89.50!

Other store that we visited was Urban Outfitters. My friend bought a cool looking coat for $60 in store. It's the one that she's wearing in the first picture (UO pic). It's still pretty pricey on the website. Bah!!
I was hoping that I could find the same one there. Unfortunately, they didn't have it. Though, I found this comfy looking sweater on the corner of the clearance rack, by itself.
It's warm, it can handle 30 F weather! I love the duotone color and the high collar too!

Silent & Noice Ombree Cocoon Sweater - $19.99 (+tax)
(Orig $78)

This sweater is currently on sale for $49.99 on their website. Gesh.

Random... :-P LOL

Then, we shopped at Ruehl's. It's an upscale brand by Abercrombie & Fitch. The store was shutting down due to bankruptcy. Everything in the store was 40% off. I bought a few things from their sale/clearance section. It's SO hard finding things in that store, since it's VERY dark, and the store was like a maze. It's worse than Hollister and A&F stores.

I bought a sweater for hubby. I almost bought a couple of polos, but I decided not to because I was afraid that they wouldn't fit him. Their men clothes seemed run smaller.
For me, a tee, a long scarf, and a long shirtdress.
Total is $60.xx.

On Dec 27th, I was going to go to the Ruehl's store in my area to buy more of their clothes, but unfortunately the store was already shut down. :(

We also went to Victoria's Secret store. I had a $10 Secret Reward and a $10 Pink coupon that I had to spend soon before they expired (Dec 24th).
Since I didn't want to spend anymore money, I used both coupons to buy panties.

Left - $10.50
Right - $9.50
Total after $20 coupons - 81 cents (stupid tax)

Christmas presents !

Juicy Couture Velour Puff Sleeve Zip Hoodie

A gift from my BFF. I love the sleeves!! ❤ She knows I love poet/puffy sleeves very much haha.
I've been wearing it whole day today because it's so warm, and the velour is so soft. ❤

She also gave me a bunch of random drugstore makeup too.

My in-law bought me a sewing machine. It's what I told them when they asked me about what I wanted for Xmas. I want it to make dolls. It takes a long time sewing dolls by hand. Maybe from now on I can make my own clothes, instead of buying them. Yeah, right. LOL

Singer Simple 23-stitch Sewing Machine

A couple of things came in the mail while I was away.

Forever 21 Fifi Lapin tee - $18.90

This tee is SO cute!! It's short, about waist-length, but it's not a big deal, still look good. I❤it!

About 2 weeks ago, I bought a sterling silver puzzle ring on eBay. It took awhile to get here because it's mailed from Turkey. The ring didn't come with an instruction. So, my hubby and I looked for instructions online, and it took him almost 2 hours to put the ring back together, and it took me a bit longer. LOL

It costs about 8-9 bucks shipped. Cheap.
It's also a great gift for friends/relatives who love puzzles btw. ;-)

On Saturday, I went to Macy's with my hubby's family, to check out the after-xmas sale.
Eventhough I wasn't in the mood to shop because I'd spent a lot during my trip, I still managed to buy a couple of things. Weak!

Pictures from eBay, Zappos

Kathy Van Zeeland In The Clear Mesh Small Tote - $21.04
(Orig. $99)

I love this bag! Good size, not too big or small. It has so many pockets, outside and inside the bag. Perfect for spring/summer. Score!

I also bought a boho long skirt.
It's actually a pretty cute skirt. Crappy iPhone picture quality. Boo.

I.N.C International Concepts Tie Dye Skirt - $8.39
(Orig. $79)

I don't know why the skirt costs so much originally. It doesn't look like it's worth $79. Maybe because it's made in India and it's tie-dyed.

Ok, now I've to go on a shopping ban, seriously....

A little update on the ASOS Whitney Port-inspired headband I posted here.

I decided to sell it on eBay last week. It's cute, but it's not really my style.
I bought it for $17. It's sold on eBay for $26!!

The winner of the headband messaged me that she had been looking for this headband everywhere, she desperately wanted to have it before her trip to New York on Dec 29th, so she was willing to pay $20 Priority Express Mail. Paying that much for a headband! Wow! o_O

The headband was sold when I was still in Las Vegas. Good thing my hubby was at home. He wrapped and mailed it for me. I ❤ him much.

One week Be4 Holiday Haul

This week,....

Received another VS package in the mail! ❤

Body by VS - Bare Ultimate Panty - FREE
Knot-Front Babydoll bra top - $4.64 shipped (Orig. $48.50. Sale $39.50)

The babydoll,
I used the 30% off code and stacked three $10 SRCs to get it down to that price.
Yeah, that's a lot of coupons for one simple top. So glad it's not disappointing. I love it!
Though the shelf-bra is annoying, hard to breathe, so I probably will mutilate it (cut the elastic band).

I still have 3 more $10 Secret Reward cards. I'm going to wait until next week. There's a rumor that the online Semi Annual Sale will be on Dec 22nd. I can use some more buff/beige/neutral-colored bras.

Last week, Bath & Body Works offered "A free tote ($20 value) with any $25 purchase and $ 3 shipping on order of $50 or more". I fell into their trap! I really liked the tote color and pattern at first sight, sooooo I bought a bunch of things to get the tote. Agh!

Foaming hand soap - 3 for $10
Shower sponge - $3

Lambie doll - $3.50

I also bought a $35 Lambie blanket, since I didn't know what else to get. I don't like their lotions, they are watery and the fragrance is too strong for me. I like Vaseline brand more. With the blanket, I could get the free tote and $3 shipping (Orig. $6.99). I live 10 mins from the store, so it's easy to return it. It's a nice vinyl tote, it has a button closure, but it's definitely not worth $20. More like $10..... or $5. It's currently on sale for $10 btw.

O yeah, one more thing. When I opened the package, there's a Victoria's Secret $10 off $25+ coupon inside! It valid from Dec 26th to Jan 10th.
I know B&BW and VS are run by the same company, but I'm still surprised that Bath & Body Works gives away VS coupons!!
VS didn't even include any coupons at all with my orders. Boo!

Next, ASOS. I bought a belt and a knit wide headband about 1.5 weeks ago. Also, I got a tote for free. It has a picture of a bulldog and a bird on top of it, really random.

Man, I wonder how many totes I got for free. I've a bunch from VS Pink, a couple from Old Navy, Sephora, DSW, Bath & Body Works, ASOS, ... I don't even carry totes. LOL

Belt - $6.80
Whitney Port Floral Headband - $17

The belt is awesome. Pretty chain design buckle, it fits as modeled. The headband, I dunno why I got it, it's not really my style, it's girlie, but I like it because it's so unique and eye-catching.

I had done some research on the headband before I bought it. It's Whitney Port inspired. It's popular in early 2009 (article). It seems it's still popular in UK. The headband comes in black, white, and pink. The black is out of stock. The white was out of stock at least twice. The white one recently is back in stock, but they have increased the price to $20.40.

See, it's quite feminine/girlie. The flower is HUGE. I'm not sure if I want to keep or sell it on eBay. Yah, hubby said I should keep it.

On Sunday, Amazon site held a one-day only deal, select outerwear was on sale for 75% off!! There were a bunch of $100-$500 value women/men designer coats and jackets. I couldn't buy anymore coats, I have too many already. :(
But, I bought a down vest, since I didn't have one. LOL
I bought it around 2 AM on Sunday. I was so glad that I didn't delay, because when I woke up later in the morning, the vest was totally sold out.

ESPRIT Quilted & Down Vest - $29.88 shipped
(Orig. $119.50)

The vest REALLY nice, good quality and warm. The hood is detachable. It has zipper, buttons, and toggles closure. The fake fur is pretty and good quality too. I pulled a small section of the fur, and it didn't shed at all.
The downside, it runs a little small. It's kinda tight around the chest area. It fits fine if I only wear a shirt or a thin sweater. It's kinda tight if I wear layers of clothes. I should have ordered one size bigger. *sigh* O well, I still LOVE this vest !!

It also comes with a tennis ball. I was confused why they included a ball. According to the instruction, it seems that it's recommended to throw the ball into the dryer with the vest. The ball will distribute the down evenly. Wow, I didn't know that. Neat!

Next, Old Navy. Last week ON had 20% off code and free shipping for $50+ purchase. I found some nice skirts. I bought some since I'm tired of wearing jeans all the time in fall/winter. I can wear the skirts w/ leggings and boots.

Two Khakis Pencil Skirts - $38 (Orig. $24.50 each)
Cotton Twill Box-Pleat Skirt - $19.99 (Orig. $29.50)
After 20% discount - $46.39 shipped

I like all of them. Good quality and versatile!! Though, I ended up returning the last skirt. It looks like a school skirt. :-x

Then, there's that pending cashback from eBates and Bing.
So after the cashback, these skirts are pretty cheap. ^__^

I bought this Martin+OSA a few days ago, when they had 25% off + free shipping deal.

Long Sleeve Cascade Ruffle Tee $18.38 shipped (Orig. $44.50)

The tee is thin and semi sheer, but bra is still not visible. So no need to wear a cami underneath to hide the bra.
I love the color. Pretty unique ruffles design. I should have ironed them first before I took the picture. O well, lazy right now. =P

So 2 weeks ago, Sephora emailed me a $20 gift card to spend. I used it to purchase Shu Uemura Skin Purifier Cleansing Beauty Oil.

Shu Uemura Skin Purifier Cleansing Beauty Oil - $52

Gucci Flora By Gucci Eau de Toilette
Yves Saint Laurent Parisienne Eau de Parfum
Nanette by Nanette Lepore Eau de Parfum
NARS Lipgloss duo (Dolce Vita + Striptease)

I purchased the 5 oz bottle ($32) when Sephora had that Friends & Family 20% sale a few months ago.
I decided to buy the 15.2 oz one with the $20 gift card for backup, since it's pretty good deal after the $20 discount (=28% off), and I'll also get cashback from Bing and eBates.

Now I have all 3 sizes, 15.2 oz, 5 oz, and 1.6 oz!
I'm set until next year. LOL

Yeah, I spent quite a fortune on this cleansing oil because it's just THAT gooooodddd. It's been great to my skin, and it washes off my makeup very effectively.

And last, I spent my last Old Navy $10 coupon, finally. I couldn't find anything I want. I'm out of stuff to buy from that store. LOL
So my hubby used it to buy a pair of khakis, for $5 !!

Men's Flannel-lined Plain-Front Pants - $5
(Orig. $35.50. Sale $15)

The fur-trim hoodie I bought last week that was on sale for $25, now it is on sale for $20 !!! I totally have to go back there and get price adjustment!
